Yj Spring Conversion

    NorCal - I looked on the shocks and boxes and couldn't see a "this side up" instruction. That being said, I do have the rear shocks the other way.
    I assume you just welded a new stud on the plate after you cut it off flush? It didn't look like there would be much thread left for the bolt that goes through the eye to secure it after you made that cut? Did you keep the stock shock mount on the frame?

    On Steve's there was plenty of thread left in the bung that's welded to the U bold plate. You only need 1/2" of deep of thread for a 1/2" bolt.
