Jacks

    Ok, so we have a thread on stands but not on jacks.

    The Tux-in-a-barn has a record three attempts at jumping off both a scissor jack and a bumper jack at me, because I didn't have it on hard concrete when I was jacking it. Don't even think about jacking unless you've got solid terrain beneath, either concrete or asphalt.

    Edit: and a badly damaged tie rod.

    Yep! That's pretty darn important.
    People don't always realize how careful you gotta be jacking a vehicle up, especially on the trail...after a few beers....

    When jacking things up, there is only one rule to remember first, Gravity rules.
