Crown Dual Master Cylinder

    On a Crown JO945556 dual master cylinder (67-70 CJ5), which port is for the front brakes, and which for the rear brakes?? Crown tech support doesn't know. "We only duplicate an original part, without knowing it specific functions". This is supposedly the duplicated Wagner-Lockheed original. Thank you.

    Welcome from Michigan. You will get an answer, I believe it is the back is the front and the front is the back. I am thinking about putting one on my 64 CJ 5, bought the right bracket, from a member, but have not done the job as of yet. I want to put 11" brakes on the front first. I have all the parts probably will do the job this winter. Good Luck

    This is correct. Rear port to front brakes and front port to rear brakes.
    From a while back when I first did this conversion, post #42 on page 3. D27 Disc brake swap on my 71'
