    still having a problem........
after I got the 5.0 install finished I was having a problem when taking off from a stop. after depressing the clutch and beginning to rollI could here a loud rubbing noise and feel a little vibration that would stop after a few seconds. I thought for sure it was the throw out bearing. I dropped the trans/TC and installed a new one. Alas I'm still having the same problem.......any thoughts?
things done during rebuild........rebuild TC, rebuild OD, re-used clutch assembely (my mechanic said they looked fine, new pilot bushing, new flywheel
    Thanks, Jim S.

Does it make the noise when you're releasing the clutch, as you're starting off from a stop?

can be setting at a stop, depress clutch shift into first.....makes the noise/vibration, shift into neutral let off clutch noise stops...........or take off and it'll stop after rolling

had to install a new brass bushing....took it to a machine shop to have it custom turned to fit the trans input shaft
