I am trying to find an old thread that discussed under-bed water tanks for 1/4 ton trailers. There was a post of a CAD drawing for a custom made poly tank designed to fit between the frame crossmembers. I think the poster was from central or northern California. Unfortunately, I can't remember if the thread was here or on another forum, and I am not finding it by using the search function.

Can anyone help me find it? I want to move my water tank from inside the tub to underneath, and the design was very slick. I'd like to use it.

    Thanks.

I've got one under mine, 15 gallon rectangular; been there since 1985.
Mounted in a cradle right above and in front of the axle tube.
could take some pictures if interested.
no CAD drawing so it's not me you are refering to.

I have a rectangular tank mounted in the bed of my trailer now, 14 gal., 29.75 x 16.0 x 7.50. I need something "thinner" to fit horizontally between the frame rails above the axle. The tank I have now is long enough and wide enough, but too "thick" when mounted horizontally. I haven't found one from the standard RV poly tank suppliers with the right dimensions. I'm looking for something with a 14-19 gal, capacity that is no "thicker" than 5" when mounted horizontally.

The thread I remember (with the drawing) showed a tank that fit between the frame rails, and had a 45 degree angle at the leading edge for a better approach angle. It fit high and tight, which is what I'm looking for. It also had a steel or aluminum cradle/skid plate.
