    Got your PM - thanks.

Does Billy know the seller (and thus the reserve)?

I like the color - seems a little dear to me though. Maybe if it's in good shape... With so few pictures, and such small pictures, there could be a lot of hidden problems. Kinda hard to bid on something like that without a little more info.

    Otherwise, heck yeah! :driving:

    <edit> One other thought... (401).

Just got a tub of a CJ6 from FirefighterMike. No VIN tag, rough shape, but the extension seems OK. Its an early 6, 55-71 with short fenders. No plans for it right now but if I find a frame I may build a crawler out of it eventually.

HMMMM........... 3b front attached to a 6 rear......................................

Pretty much stock configuration. I have a Meyers half and full cab for it. Added a few things like a Warn OD, 1 3/4" lift shackles in the rear, and some Hi Tech 31" tires. I've got all the parts to do a saggy conversion, just haven't decided if I really need/want it or not. Other than that I pretty much just drive it.

    Here's another.

1968 CJ6 with all the typical standards:
    Original Dauntless :v6:
    T14 transmission
    Dana Model 18 transfer case
    Warn overdrive
    Dana 27 in front
    Dana 44 in back
    4.88 gears

She used to be a fire truck (see original quick page) and was retired in 1998.

All is pretty much original except the overdrive and the springs. I replaced the original heavy-duty springs with a BDS 2.5" lift kit; I got a much smoother ride but only about 3/4" of lift above original.

It is almost my daily driver. The only problem comes when I carpool. I'm a little self-conscious about the ride when carpool partners are involved.

    Adam,

I do have one image of my dad's 67 but it isn't very good. Jeep never made a big deal of my dad's win since it was a 2wd and they were big about promoting the 4X4 thing. The DJ was a Brian C plan.
