    Hello,

Does anyone know where I can find a transmission access panel for my 74' cj5? (I attached a pic on mine)
I've looked everywhere and haven't had any luck.

    Any info is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Put an ad in the classifieds? I don’t know if they offer one but I’d start with Classic Enterprises for a new one (aftermarket but their stuff is quality). There are Jeep specialty wrecking yards that may be a source like JW and others. Hopefully others chime in on Jeep wrecking yards.

walacks in Ohio may have this panel for older cj5s which may be close enough with some minor modification. if they don't have one Qtr ton military in Ringgold Ga. had some of these same panels a few days ago when I was there. They may be made off shore somewhere and fit might not be exact I don't know.

I'd guess they come from MD Juan. The shape will be the same, but the transfer case shifter hole will be different. Likely other holes are different too. It will get you most of the way there though.

Hmm that looks that will work if I can't find an exact replacement. Shouldn't be too hard to modify
    Thanks

Let me know if you come up with any CJs in any south Florida yards. They don't show up very often.

I'll let you know. Are you looking for any parts in particular?
