Got my NOS D-25/27 series 4 power Lok today along with a NOS Power Lok 22233X clutch pack.
The D-27 P/L guts are going into a D-30 series 4 P/L and the clutch pack is going into the D-44 P/L unit.
    PL-27-2.jpg
It was cheaper to buy the NOS P/L then buy a clutch pack and cross shaft.

I won't be restorer, I have just enough energy to have my Jeep work and drive legally on roads.
I admire people who do such work, I did some in the past but I was in many activities, time...
I understand that some of you live on other planets where days are longer.
Or maybe they are faster than me, not the same origin!
I remember that Superman was able in 1 minute to do my 10 minutes work. This probably explains that.
    Avoid kryptonite...:)

Fiberglass....measure, measure, measure. Make cardboard templates. Measure. Fret, pace, sweat, quiver. Pound a beer, measure, fret. Deep breath, pray. Every once in a while something goes relatively well. I farmed out the filler inlet to a friend with much better fine welding skills. Thanks once again Peake Fabrication.

I like what you have done there, I got my gas tank removed, I need to clean it up but I got the debris out, about a Tbs of fine gravel and the three large flakes shown near the float. To get the 15 gal pickup to work I had to extend the inlet tube, it was just open, so last night I added a screen to the inlet. Now that the tank is out I was hoping to move the fill point higher, but there is a brace support, (used for the stock spare tire carrier) right where I want to put the fill. I can remove it, but that will require a lot of work, besides all the cleaning and Chassis Saver painting needed. I also want to put the after market sending unit, that I bought in 2012, but as of this morning I can't find it........:banghead:

Spooled up the winch. The fairlead is not being cooperative with it's r&r. For the record I think 3/8 cable is way overkill on a flatty. IMG_20200802_142750894~2.jpg IMG_20200802_142819212~2.jpg
What do you guys think of my PTO installation? Have to have an inverter or carry a generator

Today, with my wife we clean, we clean. the Jeep is in the yard, beautiful weather.
We are preparing a big load for the second-hand dealer (junk dealer). He is an old man (like me, but he has lot of diseases) he lad an old truck and he comes with his son in law, already divorced from his daughter, but no matter.
The grandson, 8 years old, is already a junk dealer specialist.
he collects all, and probably the police knows him but he is a serious guy.
His brothers own a car waste, they keep metal, part vehicles, you know this kind of people.
He is a fan of Audi, I am sure that I can get parts for mine when I need it.

So, we clean, we throw 3 or 4 generations of goods, glasses, dishes, clothes, all... including books.
I put all in boxes, and the truck is full... A picture of boxes for junk, we still have 6 days to fill the place!
    Or barn is cleaner.
The idea is to let a clean place for the children... later.
Because rain is for tomorrow, the Jeep is back in the barn...

Yes, in fact I don't use the hard-top now. It was nice in winter, indeed, but if no rain I can use the Jeep if I need it. Maybe one winter...

Some people are keeping nothing. Some others... Military people change places very often and the generally keep as less as they can.

I see the typical piece of cardboard under the jeep.
I have a piece under all my jeeps also. They do mark their spot:D

Yes so true. But there is no leak in fact except some oil from the upper part of the engine which condense below!
she had to find a trick to mark this spot ;):twist:

YES, ...... Yes it is, it was on the top shelf with the engine tank heaters that also never got installed.:susp:
I painted the tank and skid plate with chassis saver. I will top coat this evening. Then modify the tank tomorrow for the sending unit.:bananatool:

It will be quite nice to know how much gas is actually in the tank.

Yeah they looked really good after the 99 rebuild.
Now I have the actual mounts that I took off my 90 Suburban before it went to the crusher. and will install them when I put the Rugged ridge corners on. ........
