I see your hoses in the prime piece pic. Those look just like the ones from my airless spray rig and it looks like that is what they are attached too. Are you using an airless?

It still amazes me you built the entire truck bed from scratch. Fantastic work!

I'm guessing you mentioned it before, but can you reiterate the products you used/steps you took with the paint? Epoxy first, high build primer, topcoat? Is that right?

    It looks great!

After the body work I gave it 2 coats of epoxy primer then 3 coats of 2k high build primer. Let it sit overnight then used a spray can and misted on a black guide coat. Block sanded and fixed any spots I missed then one coat of thinned epoxy (5 percent reducer) as a sealer then 3 coats of single stage President Red. Then I let sit several days before messing with it

the only thing I do different is the guide coat goes on after the primer has flashed, not the next day.

I do quite a bit of dry finish sanding the guide coat will clog the paper if its not totally dry, at least you use a guide coat. I started years ago we had a paint rep tell us we were wasting material by not using one, he was right we were sanding the primer too much therefore wasting it. saves time and cost.

Back in the day... I got the windshield replaced and failed the next inspection because they didn't get the safety compliance etch on it. :contract:
