Can you take a few more pictures from farther back? So I can see the whole set up?

I think it goes. The inside rod with a cable on actually goes under the body where the tunnel is? And the outside portion of the pedal would be the gas pedal inside the cab?

    Just spitballing here...

Of course, there is no slot or hole in the floor to support my theory

DSCN0938.JPG DSCN0937.JPG You can see the wire going over the radiator flange. It goes in a straight line from it's attachment point on the accel rod to the linkage in the back.

The accelerator rod goes thru the floor, makes a 90 turn then another 90 turn up the side of the footwell. The accel wire is fastened to it and goes all the way straight back to the linkage by the manifold. It is like piano wire, not flexible cable. The accel rod has two 3/8" pipe straps that hold it to the underside of the floor and are bolted to a square reinforcing plate on the top of the floor. Midwest Willys should have the accel rod set up, I don't think any of the Jeep vendors will have it. I was not able find anywhere locally the 3/8" pipe straps and 1/2" won't do, way to much play in the rod. The wire goes thru a short piece of cable housing that has a strap wrapped around it to bolt it to whatever that bolt is over the fuel pump.. DSCN0939.JPG

This is my drivers floor when it arrived. I used fiberglass to repair all the rust thru spots on the vehicle. easy to work with and won't rust. DSCN0685.JPG

Grainger has the 3/8" pipe straps if you can't find locally. I suspect McMaster-Carr does also.

The gas pedal and bracket are available from about everybody. The bent accel rod not. Midwest Willys has a lot of used parts and should have this. I got the 3/8 straps and square reinforcing plate from them. They also sent a gas pedal but it was wrong. The accel rod just rides/rubs on the back of the gas pedal so it is important they match up

Turns out, those 3/8" straps are hard to find in heavy duty. Everything local is flimsy aluminum or copper for electrical/plumbing....so close....

so, i dont quite like the metal on metal strap, so i am printing 2 of these to sandwich together, to then bolt to a plate inside the cabin. the F only indicates front, since its a little more narrow than than long. 5/16" bolts.

    solid printed carbon fiber.
    1/2" thick.

the through in the middle is for the small tang on the pedal rod that prevents it from shifting side to side when its installed.
