In case anyone wondered why the hiatus from here with the Jeep, it's really because I was just driving it. This has been my daily driver and I have put 22k miles on it over the past few years and run a lot of trails with it. As you can imagine, that causes some significant wear on a Jeep like this and now it's time to come back on here where I can document fixing it all. I broke down and bought a second vehicle, so I can take some time to wrap up some bigger prjects on the Jeep.

I'm pretty proud of the fact that I am wearing through the steel pedals, haha. 66687815_355788618652211_874285728912113664_n.jpg

Not wasting any time: out comes the electrical and it's time to rewire.

I spent far too long trying to figure out where to put these gauges so that they were hidden from view.

Jeep is rewired now, just need some tubing and grommets to cover/protect the wires. All water resistant marine fittings and I got rid of all the random grounding points throughout the Jeep. Everything is grounded on one of four grounded bus bars on the Jeep. Keeps things much cleaner. wiring.jpg

Do you have any info on that pedal pivot? Looks like an aftermarket unit.

I don't have any plans of making side windows. I never really use them. In fair weather the panels will be rolled up anyway so visibility won't be an issue.
