Guys, have any if you ever installed a seal at the hub end of a Dana 30 axle. I know you can get seals for the more modern Dana 30 but I'm talking about a low pinion version. We wheel in a lot of mud and water and wanted to keep the crap out.

The seal where ther driveshaft enters the housing? Yes, I've changed it. Every other seal in a Dana 30, too.

No I'm talking about the outer end of the axle shaft, point closest to the knuckle.

Dana 30 only has a wheel bearing seal or inner tube axle seal that's next to the pumpkin. I've been putting mine off. Cleaning the dirt out of the tube isn't fun.

Ah! You are looking for those aftermarket things the late-model guys use to keep debris out of the tubes. Those arent available for our old axles.

Yeah I was thinking if you could just make a seal fit, really asking if someone else had for it first before I went at it rather than reinvent the wheel scenario

Seals-it makes a seal that will work. It goes into the axle tube just past the inner c. You will have to measure your axle shaft O.D., your axle tube I.D. And choose the one that works best for you. We polished up the shaft section where the seal rides.
I don’t know the part number as it was a year ago I bought and installed mine.
