Anyone have the actual dimensions on these? Centerline to centerline for the arms and width between arms.

    Thanks

I assume your looking to add one to an early Jeep?......OEM front? Sorry no dimensions but late 1970's through the early eighties narrow track vintage still had the same frame width up front as the early CJ's so they were easily adaptable with a 53" Wheel mounting axle width such as a D-30...requires some finissing to get it mounted with the old radiator crossmember and power steering taking up a different piece of real estate vs the later Jeeps....shocks also have to be moved back but it can work..........that bar is off a 80-81 CJ

M170 (M38A1 ambulance) "stabilizer bars" were available OEM, both front and rear, if that is any use to you.

I've looked at those on-line but nowhere have I found the actual dimensions. I assume Terry's rig had Holbrooks as does my 3B where I want to install the sway bar. But similar to Terry's, there isn't anything up front that is really stock including the crossmember. I had to move the sector box forward as far as I could get it so the draglink and tie rod wouldn't be trying to occupy the same space at the same time. That really restricts the real estate for the sway bar, not to mention the PSC assist cylinder. The axle is a wide track D44 I put together.

I believe the Addco kit actually includes the 80-81 years so in may be the same as Terry's. I don't recall ANY CJ's in the local pick and pull but will give them a call or maybe visit a couple of the local 4x4 shops.

John, those are Holbrooks which the center bolt is offset some..........the wide track axle would give you more room , but depending on that axle width you may be looking for a later OEM AMC WT sway bar.......I bought that bar off ebay for like $75...

Or better yet Currie makes a nice setup using a splined torsion bar and different length arms that have multiple adjustments to add or subtract force........I'm using one on both ends of my CJ-6 conversion and that could be mounted farther forward.......but you'll still need to clear a path from L-R in either case........
