my big suggestion is make a mock up first and keep the bending to a minimum..
I used heat.. but the first couple pairs were powder coated... I ended up keeping my current ones raw and fairly strait..

well the little joys of driving a "build" Jeep are popping up here and there...

noticed a small puddle of coolant under the Jeep today...
back of the motor seemed damp dripping onto the clutch slave cyl.
Ill make a long story short and the intake manifold bolts were loose.. (hopefully thats it)

I think its time for shop weekend to nut and bolt everything..

also on the quick to do list:
    - Fluids
    - Need to address belly skid... if for no other reason than its a Jeep..
    - Need USB or 12v in dash or ?
    - Perminant tool storage
    - Bikini or ? (anybody have anything custom made or experience doing it?)
    - Paint door hinges

I'd think a boat top canvas guy could whip you up a nice bikini top to cover the whole passenger area. I'd put USB in dash, everything seems to be USB now. Or both USB and 12v cigar lighter next to each other to cover the bases.

Quick little addition over the weekend..
Need some more storage that isnt in the center console..
Thinking about a tuffy trunk as well, but wanted a slide out drawer for under the driver seat..
wish it was a little bit deeper and wider, but there is still room for a tool bag tucked next to it..

Need to work on getting these all keyed alike

    tuffy...
~$110.. can key alike to center console, or they also sell a combo style..

I was thinking along similar lines.. glove box type items, wrench roll, screwdrivers etc..

Ahh the joys of a custom build....

Had a couple shut downs while driving the past day or so...
Fuel pump cut out.. didn’t hear it prime with an ignition cycle.
Was able to restart within a few seconds/min of waiting.
    Howell suggested relay...

    Fun...
