Just caught up with this thread and watched the videos. Looks like she works well, Steve. Cool video for sure. Really reminds me of how much I think I would like to have power steering.

I have not had that opportunity YET,,,,,, we found this cyn and it didn't have ANY traffic on it we had no idea what was around the next corner(EXCITING)we just hoped we didn't have to turn around ....... me and the Toyota did figure if we had to go back I would go first and he would winch me down since he's longer and with the ability to use the front end only (Atlas t case) if he did start to get sketchy he could just gas it down and not flip .

SO Sway has been holding up very well for a homebrewed rig and I am super happy..
climbs really well and has REALLY opened up my choice of lines on the trail

..I've been putting this mod off for awhile but it needs to be done .I carry OBA and OBW cables in ammo boxes now and I'm constantly worried about the $200 worth of copper cables disappearing ,,,way to easy to walk away with ..........since my seats are fixed that under seat toolbox is no use to me .I'm going to sink a toolbox lid into the 6 section ,,,,the ribs line up perfectly and I'm going to be brave and cut it out ....don't know what I'll use for the box portion underneath probably mock it up out of wood first to see how deep it can be and not hit the driveshaft with compression .......then sheet steel or alum box

I found some thin carpet on a job and fixed it up in there ,did the rear floor tops of wheel wells and front floors .I know water Will be a problem but with no top and no wipers I can't drive it anyway ......I was amazed how much it quieted down the jeep

Nice, Steve. I'm looking forward to how you make that work. Dittos on the extra wheelbase giving you more options on the lines you take. I've noticed the same with the new wheelbase on my rig. Morris Rock, coming up Cadillac comes to mind.

This is the real reason you are cutting the floor..
On the Rubicon you must haul out what you bring including bio-waste. Steve didn't want to buy the Lugableloo from the Blue Ribbon Coalition so he designed his own version. This is the holding tank so that he can mount the "fixture".

I am sure all the Members on the trail will be happy to use the new portable facility that Steve will maintain in a clean and pleasant state.
Let us know when you plan on the first use and take photo's!
