For Sale Black Soft top off '74 CJ5 for sale

I just bought a Meyers H.T and had thought about putting the soft top on in the summer and the hard top for cold weather, but it's too much of a pain in the A** for me to swap back and forth, (after spending most of the day installing the hard top).
So........
Up for sale, a newer soft top, all complete- frame, snaps, everything you need to mount it, (except the part the holds it onto the windshield, my windshield frame came with the mount spot welded on.
This is black soft top, can't find a brand name, but "Ragalite" is on the door windows, so that's either the name of the top or who made the clear windshield material.
The P.O. of the jeep had just bought it and never installed it when I bought the jeep. I had to install it before I took the jeep home last May, so it hasn't seem much weather.
No rips, tears, wear spots. The zippers all work good, windows are clear and still flexible.
I live on Northeastern Pa. (near Scranton, Pa), Olyphant, Pa. 18447 for shipping costs. All together it must weigh about 10-15lbs, but the box to ship it in a box, it has gotta be big one!
I'm asking $200, O.B.O., it has to go, so if you need one, shoot me a offer and we'll talk about it. I just want to get rid of it before it goes, "outta site, outta mind"
I have some pics of the top I can email anyone intrested.
Thanks!

Helping my son tune his 258 ?

I am going to try and help my son tune his 258 in his CJ5? before deer season starts in November. This will be the blind leading the blind so I'll be posting questions here for several weeks I suspect. First of all, is this the correct thread to post these kinds of questions in????

It is hard to start and won't idle very well but we managed to turn enuff carb scews that we got it idling but it is still running very ruff so we think that maybe a carberator kit should possibly be the first order of business and we would rrally like to do away with some of the many vacum lines at that time. He also wants to drop the smog pump in the process but we will be asking advise on those items later.

I am going to try and post some pics of the carb that I took and maybe one of Y'all is experienced enuff to identify it from the sorry photos. I can pull the air cleaner and take more later if necessary.

Please excuse the novice questions but I have never worked on one of these.

Recently removed from an '05 Rockwood 5th Wheel. All in good shape, trailer was hardly used by non-smokers. Set consists of:

- Hide-a-bed couch (couch will need a bit of re-work to use again, nothing major).
- 2 Dinette benches with oak-front drawers. These are aluminum-framed vs. the furring strip approach found in many RV's.
- All cushions for dinette.
- Freestanding dinette table. Folds down for storage or for making the dinette into a bed.
- Matching throw pillows for couch.

All in excellent shape - we removed because we are taking the trailer on the road for a year full-time and wanted residential furniture.

This would make a good set for a older RV in need of a makeover.

I have a dana 20 im my 74 cj5. when the transfer case is in the 2h position... the front propeller will most of the time not spin but frequently It will spin and create a grinding noise. when the front propeller drive shaft stops spinning so does the noise. I can shift the transfer case into the 4h position and the front propeller shaft will spin like it should and there is no noise. Is this an internal problem with the dana 20 transfer case or is my shifter linkage in need of some sort of adjustment?

A few months ago I bought a rear axle because it had a powerlok diff and it matched my 5.38 gears. Along with it was a front axle "for parts" the short side axle shaft, spindle, and hub are missing.

This week I thought I should see what was in side. It's a Dana 25, finally found the number on it and it also had a powerlok diff 5.38 gears :). Numbers are 22480X 5 8 63 c.

From my reading on this site I am thinking the best thing is to use the Dana 25 axle with my D27 shafts and the D27 knuckles outward (already converted to disc brakes).

I am just looking confirmation. that this will work.:v6:

thank you
