I'm getting alot of moisture build up under the oil filler cap on my 55 is that normal or do I have a problem? Where could it be coming from?

It's typical, if you're not losing water from your radiator don't let it worry you. It's from the engine cooling down and sucking in moist air. Do you have a PCV system operational? Mine just vent to atmosphere, I don't have anything hooked up. It also happens if you don't run your engine long enough to warm up and basically boil the moisture out. You could also try a gasket on the filler cap, if it doesn't have one now.

Thanks Glenn, it was cool weekend here when i drove it so it really didn't get to hot. What should they normally run for temp? The hoses are hooked up to the air cleaner from the oil filler neck.

Either 160 or 180 thermostat should be in there. Kinda depends on climate you live in.
