Just put back in rebuilt transmission. Now there is a new problem. When you put it in second and apply poer it pops right out of gear. What might be the problem and possible fix.

Couple of thoughts - put the T14 in second, tket the top cover off, and see if the synchro clutch is moving all the way against the gear.
The Novak site http://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge/t90_rebuild.htm claims that a T90 popping out of gear is due to a worn 2nd gear. However, this happens ususally on decelleration; it seems more likely (at least to me) that something is blocking your shifting all the way into 2nd. Maybe you used the wrong diameter snap ring somewhere, or some such.

synchros are jacked up.. sounds like the detent springs are shot or the detents are not right in the synchros..

I just got finished fighting this issue in my newly rebuilt T-14 but in 3rd gear. It turned out that the shifter that I got with the rebuilt tranny had a shift fork that was slightly bent. If it is a new/different shifter than was originally on the tranny you are using, it might be worth checking.
