Hello folks. I have been a member here for a couple of months but
have only been "lurking" thus far. I bought a '63 CJ5 in need of total
resto in late winter. Anyhow, I am now ready to tear into this project.
I am a longtime Jeep owner. I currently have a 3B and have owned
everything from a MB to a Wrangler. Expect to hear from me quite often
as I am sure I will have questions and comments on this quest.

Hi Steve welcome, this is a great board. I was a lurker for a long time too. But my problem is , i just don't like to type. LOL I see your from Ohio, i live in Mahoning county. I have a 1980 cj7, not an early cj but i don't care. The guys here will help you out here just the same. I would like to get a 3B sometime, time will tell. Alan A.K.A: hippo393 is from Rootstown, I have met him, we'll all have to get together sometime. Four Wheel Drive Hardware in Columbiana is having a jeep weekend July 18th. There camping out down in Wellsville at a fire station and driving over to Yellow Creek to the trails, sounds like fun. Check it out on there website: http://www.4wd.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2078.

Ask away Steve. I don't think you'll find a more open and helpful group online.

Hippo,
I have the Hurricane four in the CJ5 and
the 225 V6 in the 3B. I know this is backward but I will probably keep it this
way. I spent the afternoon starting to
dismantle the 5. Took some pics also.
I will try to get some posted. << Steve

Howdy from Pennsylvania. What part of OH are you in? If yer only about 15 minutes from Wellsville, you're less than an hour from me (I can be in Wellsville in about 30 minutes).

[b]Plunkinberry,
Ever hear of a little town of Bergholz, Ohio? I have a little farm about 4 miles
from there. It is 18 miles west of Steubenville. Steve
