I plan to use the original wiring and intervehicle cable on my M101 trailer. I need to find out which wire powers what function. I know that wire 21 is connect to pin "C" but what I don't know is if pin "C" supplies power to the blackout drive lights or blackout brake lights or right turn signalor left trun sight or regular brake lights or regular running lights. Can anyone give me a wiring diagram?

On my m416 the po had cut the connector off. I just supplied power to each wire one at a time with the lights plugged up and the covers removed. I used a car battery that I had laying around. It took about 10 mins to figure out what wires went to which light/bulbs and labeling each of them. I ended up splicing in a 4 way flat connector and wired up the blackout lights to come on with the running lights. I also replaced the 24v bulbs with 12v bulbs. Hope this helps.

A long time ago on the first day of Machine Design I the professor stated the first rule of engineering design "Never reinvent the wheel!". Before I sat down with a battery and or a multimeter I thought I would see if anyone had gone through the same exercise and was willing to share their knowledge.

Shoot me an email and I'll reply back with some PDFs of the M416, M101CDN and US M101 electrical diagrams of the lights, their respective numbered and letter coding on the tow vehicle side.
