Small Bones

1952 M38a1 frame, boxed at all stress points

1964 DJ-3a Body with firewall, inner fender wells, and floor boards removed

Aluminum diamond plate floor mounted directly to the frame, steel firewall bolts to frame and rollcage, independently mounted from body

DJ-5 rear Dana 44 with 5.38 gears and spool. 30 spline axles

Custom owner-built Dana 44 front axle, 5.38 gears, open, with Scout 2 rotors and hubs and Chev calipers and mounts

Holbrook long leaf springs in front with shackle reversal



Rear is currently stock length 2" lift springs, or thereabouts

Wagoneer model 20 transfer case modified to twin stick shifters

Borg-Warner T-10 close ratio car trans adapted to 20 transfer case

Called "Bones" because my daughter said the first time she rode in it that it rattled her to her bones. She's called it that ever since.
