Featured classic Jeeps

Karl's Jeep as it was at the time of purchase.
Karl Jacobs, oxlahuha@guate.net, a coffee grower in Guatemala purchased this 1965 CJ-5 and has recently finished restoring it, he writes:
I tried to keep the car as close to original as possible. The car is now fitted out with Bestop seats, front & rear, as well as with a Bestop top.
Ron Meditz supplied most of the parts (Kaiser-Willys), http://www.kaiserwillys.com/,
as did Turner 4wd Parts Co., http://www.thejeep.com/.
The dashboard plates I got from England. The Jeep also has a Solex carburetor.
Everything works, Im just planning to change the wiring harness which should conclude the job.

Footplate removed

He finishes, "Currently working on a Willys Station wagon, and then Ill proceed to work on the Perkins CJ-5."
Above: New dash plates and Bestop driver's seat.

A job well done! I can't wait to see the Perkins and the Wagon!
