A webpage for classic Jeeps
Jayhawkclint took the time to set down and write up an article on density altitude adjustments of carburetors. It's an interesting read and not hard to understand and it's well worth understanding.

Forum member Ab was kind enough to share some photos from a trail ride last year in Germany. They're now posted in the Trail Rides section of the gallery for you to enjoy.
In addition to the usual mayhem in the forum I've actually done a few things to the page lately.
I've added a few more links in the transmission and transfer case section, the SM420 swap page, and fixed the RSS autodetection in the classifieds.
Mortten saw the '60 Owners Manual so he scanned the 1969 Owners Manual for us as well so we could see just how much Jeep had changed their methods by then.
It is interesting to compare the two manuals.

We now have a 1971 CJ-5 Renegade Wiring Diagram by T.R. Yelton (mnemonic76), http://www.earlycj5.com/tech/electrical/Renegade_I_Wiring.pdf.
Thank you for a very detailed wiring diagram that does a great job illustrating a Renegade wiring diagram.
fheadcj6 found, scanned and shared a 1960 Model CJ-5 and CJ-6 Owners Manual with us. Pretty neat, especially considering he's in Australia! Thanks Chris.

This year the Spring Midwest Willys Jeep Reunion will be held at the Route 66 Hotel in Springfield, IL again. Featured vehicles are the Maverick Station Wagons and the Jeep Surrey Galas. If you have one we'd love to see it there! If you have any original literature that could be used to make reproductions for the reunion could you let me know? I'll put you in contact with the right people.
Registration: $12 per vehicle (vehicles must be no
less than 25 yrs old)
If you are not bringing a vehicle but plan to attend, a
donation of $5 per person would greatly defray reunion
costs. (Children under 12 free)
See the SMWJR website for more information and to register, http://www.midwestwillysreunion.org/smwwr.htm
